Project Overview  

The design for this residential building on Old Madras Road, Bangalore, was generated from careful attention to the urban and social context. Located on a narrow site and sandwiched between upcoming residential blocks, this new building will become a part of the much-loved fabric of the current neighbourhood while demonstrating the client's commitment towards a greener urban future. What is new is the attempt to give this desire a clearly structured, aesthetic and - literally - natural face - 'biological architecture that derives from technically and mechanically based aspects of ecological sustainability'.
